Hello,
I am a single motor carrier and I was wondering how to be compliance to the DOT drug and alcohol requirements. There is a lot of stuff on the web about it, but I just want to know that I am legal somehow? is there like a program I need to join or just a form I need to submit?
THanks,
Brandon

Did you study any of the business before obtaining your operating authority or are you just starting to study?

you must join a drug testing consortium , go on the net and search for one will cost a couple hundred dollars a year,,

OOIDA has a consortium you can join. They will pull your random drug and alcohol testing and maintain all the required records and reports. They will also tell you about all the other things you need to have one file, even it is just you driving. They have a O/O course that is FREE that I would strongly suggest that you sign up for. They also have affordable insurances that you, your truck and your family would find beneficial.
You know guys, I think OOIDA ought to be paying me for as many times I tell someone about what OOIDA offers. At least a free membership every year!CrappieJunkie Thanks this. -
I went with what ooida had to offer, if I remember correctly it was 100 dollars for the year. CMCI is the company.
