i would stay away from them things have change in the past few months im a o/o with them been there 2 yrs. was good at first. now u sit waiting for loads. i sat 5 days last week and its getting worse now they are taking all the loads from other terminals and loading the company trucks. but not to say that the company drivers are rolling i have seen company trucks sit for a couple of day before getting loaded.now they are going back through their books and looking for ways to get money from the o/o. they charged me this week for a service call 10 months ago on their trlr. now they are telling me it was my truck that caused the problem.then they charged me for a load that they claimed was late. back in july it was not late they booked that load for team drivers then dispatched me on it i told them i could not load in columbus oh and be in laredo the next day they said to get it there in 2 days which i did. just hope u never have to ask for a advance they will charge u 15% plus 6 bucks for a com check. i dont know if u are going to drive a company truck if so get ready for forced dispatch. abd they take out escrow on company drivers. like phillip fulmer said drivers are a dime a dozen. they shows how the feel about their drivers. like i said i been there for 2 yrs and things were good made a decent check every week. but they brought in some new faces and things have gone to crap since.

carroll fulmer is a great company..............if you like being away from home for 3-4 weeks at a time.they are awsome if you like having to beg to get home when you are do for home time.#1 company to work for if you want .30/cpm for the 1st 120 days before your pay goes up to maybe .34/cpm carroll fulmer is the best company hands down if you like dispatchers that don't work with you and works against you every chance they get.if you don't mind being charged 15% + $6 for a personal com-check after all in 20 years of driving they are the only company I have ever worked for that takes out an escrow for company drivers.if you don't mind going through your paycheck every week to see what they didn't reimburse you for then come on over we have a seat for you.if you don't mind every time you turn around have the QC beep at you with a fleet mesg. about if you don't do this and you don't start doing that and if you go over this much fuel per day or you fart to loud or if you blow boogers in the parking lot you will be charged for this or you will be terminated for that.listen people this is not just another complaint from a unhappy driver at another company.with 20 years out here I have never seen such a joke of a company in my life to work for. when the operations manager comes straight out and tells you he dispatches freight not drivers.and when you go into his office and have a talk to him about certain issues and he tells you he does not disagree about nothing you say but that's the way it is if you don't like it you are welcome to find another job there is a real problem.while I understand they are trying to run a business and they can't keep every single driver happy all the time,I am here to tell you these people do not care one little bit about there drivers.you know these people are hurting when the recruiter is advertising on craigs list.listen folks I have never bad mouthed a company but please consider other options Before going to work for these people.

so true mrE i was a o/o with them i could not believe they charged company driver escrow i thought the was a joke. as far as the dispatchers in groveland thats why i would never run out of groveland. and when the operations mgr came in things really went down hill. i was with them for 3 yrs 1st yr and half was good the second yr and half went down hill.

carroll fulmer is a ticking time bomb. I been here a few months and thats all i can say. They tell you that they will fire any driver that complains about e'm online so i can't say anymore. Funny, trucking companies tell all the dirt on drivers everywhere they can on the internet but the hard working driver...? shhhh he had better not say one truth about a trucking company.

I worked for them for 9 months before having to leave to become a caregiver but intend to go back to them just as soon as I go back driving again. Here is the deal. My dispatchers were primarly in Salinas, Ca and I talked to my dispatcher to find out how to get things done like hometime and running lanes. From that point on I had no problem getting home on time that also applied to when I was in Groveland. Here is the trick I learned you do the dispatchers a little favor from time to time and they will go out of there way to get you what you want. I used to do shuttles round the LA area which paid well for me. All drop and hook stuff. They were all very nice to me. As far as the pay you get paid what you have in as far as years of driving experience and even got a raise for doing my "job" and not tearing up the equipment and PU & delivering on time. Not very hard to do since it's in the job description. I like this company because they treated me extremely well.

I use to work for this company...out of Groveland...

And when i worked there...I averaged about $700-$800 week....
They gave me a very steady income stream...

This was back a few years though...

Like Roaddawg92 said...I have no idea how they are now...
Dispatchers change, ownership changes, policies change...a lot of things effect how a company is ran from year to year...

But when I worked there...I think in 04 or 05...I had no issues with them at all...
    As far as paycheck wise...
But again...I ran...it was usually out to Texas, and back to Florida...out and back...or further west...

They kept me in the S-West alot, and I loved it...
And they hauled a lot of plants...(groveland)...their terminal is sorounded by orchards galor...and so they haul a lot of that stuff....

Anyways...I can only attest for my time there...and I found they worked for me just fine...
