and sammonsrecruiter i did talk to drivers not just one and i was told the same thing about lease drivers and o/o. in fact i just talk to one of yoyr o/o yesterday he is in michigan right now waiting for a load has been their since thursday

 

I applied for the lease purchase program over a week ago and have yet to be contaced. I make a phone call to them, and was given a chance to breifly speak to a "recurter" and she told me she had my app and would call me once the reports came back. Now having been in this industry for 13 years and having worked for a few different companys I KNOW that most of these reports are instant just a click on a mouse button away. I don't understand what the hold up is. If this is a sign of what is to come once working for them I guess I'm starting to get cold feet.....

 

I worked for them in 07, not a bad company, reason i left , was driving for an O/O , pay issues,, anyway, ask to talk to Robin Rau, she was really good when I was there, she was a recruiter.

Is Robin Rau still working at Sammons as a recruiter? Good people right there.

 

Robin retired. She does some small projects for us when she wants too. We miss her but Stacy came upstairs to help in recruiting now

 

Good to hear she is doing well.

 

Was contacted by recruiting and we ironed out or differences. Hopefully this works out will keep in touch....

 

I got an app with sammons and am just waiting for the word it has been about 3 days now so dont know what the lease purchase intails but thats my interest and talked to a girl there and she gave me a choice i picked a kw thats on the site

 

Can anyone give an update to the working conditions of Sammons? I have a friend that is going to start their in a month... I have been looking at this company for a couple years now but haven't heard a whole lot about them... I am really interested on the LP deal.. It sounds like a pretty fair deal. Just want to hear from those that have the skinny...
