Walmart Info.

The Wal-Mart Private Fleet qualification requirements
Three (3) years and 250,000 miles driving experience in the last five (5) years.

Minimum of 75,000 miles over the road tractor/trailer experience in each of the last 3 years.
No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle resulting in a fatality - lifetime.
No preventable D.O.T. reportable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last 10 years.
No more than one (1) non-preventable accident while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
No more than two (2) minor moving violations while operating a personal or commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
No serious traffic violations while operating a personal or commercial vehicle in the last three (3) years.
Interstate Commercial Drivers License with Hazmat and Airbrake endorsements.



Excellent Pay:
Mileage Pay Paid by the hub
Hourly Pay
Activity drop and hook pay.
Scheduled work week with varied and flexible working hours spent at Transportation Offices, Distribution Centers, Wal-Mart Stores, SAM'S Clubs and customer locations
Paid 10-hour breaks
Paid Vacations
Paid Holidays
Paid Safety days
Paid Personal days
Paid sick days
401(k) plan
Profit sharing plan
Stock purchase plan
Health and dental benefits
"No-touch freight "
Regular home time
Profit Sharing and 401(k) Plan

5/2- Work 5 days, off the same 2 days every week.

6/2- Work 6 days and you 2 days rotate every week.

6/3- Work 6 off 3, which 3 driver share 2 trucks

7/7- Work 7 days off 7, 2 drivers share 1 truck

3/2- Work 3 off 2, then work 5 then off 3, not sure if that is right, but pretty close. 3 drivers share 2 trucks

Time slots are different too, 8am, 10am, 12noon, 1500, 1800.



Every drive makes the same on DROPS & HOOKS, LAYOVERS and so on. The miles start at something like $0.38 and tops at $0.46 in think. More you do per day the more you make per day.

If all this is right,I might have somthing to look foward to lol...There might be light at the end of the tunnel????

Nope. You don't. That light may be the headlight of an approaching train.

Don't count your chickens before they hatch. Wal-Mart is most certianly a good company to drive for. But I don't like the rumbles I'm hearing from within, from close friends that drive for them.

yeah i dont know about walmart trucking , but my mom works in one and they are all bunch of (insert word here)
