Anybody under 40 can do it. All you do is drop if off with your two wheeler. You'll lose weight, you'll build big legs. Usually you hump it and rest while driving. It's work, but it isn't terrible. Ones that quit are scared to work. Just hand me a check is better, lol.

Try Coca-Cola where you do the same, plus rotate the stock, stock the coolers, build displays on top of delivering. I worked for Johnston Coca-Cola, everything on the truck was on the bottom and you had to dig. Nothing was organized. I use to hate working up a sweat two wheeling and then go in the cooler to rotate and stock. Hot, cold, hot, cold....

Pepsi and the beer trucks have their trucks loaded in order. I would think the food trucks were organized too. That makes a big difference.

Its organized to an extent, you have 3 or 4 stops on a pallet first stop gets heavy stuff its gonna be under all of those other stops you have to move it all and you have 3 compartments to do that with, early in the route you dont have any room so it gets interesting. Im 23 and I have torn a muscle in my back and have knee problems one of the guys I work with is 26 and hes already had back surgery another is 35 and has had both knees replaced. Its not for the faint of heart! I worked for budweiser for 2 years and it wasnt bad, coke is definitly harder than beer. Niether pays as good as foodservice tho.

No work hardly at all .... Very easy

    2. Is lying

At 0.52 per case and 3 hrs work that's
520.00 for 1000 cases slightly less if he has less cases but let's say 1000 cases

That's over $100.00 per hour heck it's over $150.00 per hour
True number is is bout $165.00 per hr

Come on folks .... You can see he is

    FOS :

Lawyers don't make that or some don't
you need to remember two things. first, there is a huge cost of living difference between the ny metro area and kentucky. secondly, unions. it is much cheaper for a company to pay drivers more money, and have less guys on payroll, especially since benefits alone are worth close to $30000 a year in union shops. i'm a driver for sysco metro ny and made $95000. that's an average wage for this part of the country doing trhis kind of work

Very interesting reading in this thread,I'd take this job in a heartbeat to make $70-$90K a year.
Once I have the 2 years experience required by US Food I will be looking into it for sure.
I've worked many hard jobs so the physical aspect doesn't scare me,it's called work for a reason lol.
I recently left a 99% no touch freight job at May for a Schneider dedicated account where I have to handle every box in the trailer by hand and being a dollar Tree account there are many boxes in a load, some pretty heavy like cases of water or Gatorade etc.
A lot of people even at Schneider's orientation thought I was somewhat touched like the village idiot or something but I made the switch to get better home time (every weekend),pay is about the same maybe a little better if I get my bonuses available after being there 6 months.
My first day was yesterday and it is pretty darn hard work, setting up rollers in the truck to hook onto the store's rollers and stacking every box on them and pushing them out of the truck.
The stores do not have docks and the loads are mostly floor stacked so no pallet jacking most of the time you just add more rollers as you move back in the trailer and pick up every box.
I can't say I'm not a little sore today but I'll survive and get used to it,I look at it as a stepping stone to get a good paying gig like US Food, they start at $21.xx hr in this area.
Hard work seems to be alien to a lot of the younger gen these days, even the equipment like lift trucks etc are a lot less work than they used to be back in the day with automatics or electric motors and computers on board to track freight.
I'll be 55 years old this year so I'm no spring chicken but I'm game,I'm a seasoned worker who can do a hard days work without whining about it (I still cut, haul, split & stack my own firewood) just show me the job and give me the chance and I'm on it for that kind of money.

Under 40? pffft!....it's more about physical condition,I've seen a lot of under 40 over even under 30 that couldn't begin to keep up with me on a hard days work.

    I'm just shy of 55.

Yeah get'n paid fair is the hard part lol.
Getting older I think working hard and staying in shape is paramount, sit'n in a rocker or being a couch potato will kill ya early.
I do about 5 or 6 of these a year to heat my home,I enjoy getting out in the woods and don't mind the splitting and stacking too much but I like the cutting part better lol..
Sadly I might have to buy wood this year as I probably won't have the time needed to cut my own, maybe I can get some and buy some.
