Well my husband works for Sygma he's been with the company for 10+ years. I know what some of your are saying yeah! it does really suck what you guys have to go through. The 40,000 pounds that you have to unload by hand. Oh and by the way running through mall corridors and down long hallways to get in to the mall and then through the mall to were you actually have to get to. Don't forget when the warehouse doesn't load the trailer properly and you have to spend 30 mins throwing a pallet out so that you can get what you really need for that store. Yeah! sounds like fun. Or when your getting paged on your phones when your at the last stop, you know why there calling you, not to say hello but to add on a pick up or a back haul when your both dead tired and the office tells you it's going to ready as soon as you get there. Yea! good one... lol You get there and then they tell you well we didn't know you were coming now or the warehouse guys are on lunch give me your cell and we'll call you when you get a door. Hours can go buy before your called and then you get your door they start loading you and guess what can happen next..... You run out of time, now your not allowed to drive back to the yard you have to wait for someone to rescue you or wait till you reset your time after sitting 10 hours. And let me tell you, your most likely going to sit for ten hours. It's not very common that they come to get you even when your stuck 45 mins from the yard. Lovely huh! Well the money is what everyone is saying it to be my husband has made 65K I know of some who worked all the time that can get paid close to 100k but running your tails off all night long. Some runs are 10-16 stops anywhere in that range with as little as 90 pieces to 245 or more or 16-24 hours long. And yea you can get stuck with someone who will look at the paper 35 times before checking in all the products. Holy man before you know it your partner finished the stop and you haven't even gotten out of the trailer with your first load yet. There are areas that are dangerous where you can get robbed it has happened plenty of times. Or you get there and the cops are at the store and tell you the place was just robbed, or your in a neighbor hood where they are shootings 4 blocks away. What the hell is wrong with this picture. It's going to start looking like our guys need to protect them selves with something at night to stay safe.

well I know no one wants to hear a woman ramble but good luck to you all and stay safe....:biggrin_25514:

I'm still at Sygma Illinois. Lost some business but are suppose to pick up a few more concepts by summer's end.

Making around $2,500 every two weeks before taxes. I hate taxes. lol. Bring home close to $2,000.

Been at SYGMA Columbus OH for just over 4 months now. Yea it is work, yea the warehouse likes to hide stuff sometimes but overall I am very happy that i decided to leave steel hauling to come here. Extra board is not bad but got my own team route before i got out of probation. Not many places have the earning potential that SYGMA has.

I will be going for my physical and drug screen in a couple of days for the IL. terminal. Looking forward to getting started, hope I can still work like a new guy even if I am an old guy. I should be okay, still in pretty good shape for 48. I guess we will see.

Does Sygma have any day jobs? Warehouse or anything else? Everything I see indicates it is all second and third shift work.
