Just finished with my 4 stop load that ended in Evans CO. I already have been given a backhaul that picks up tomorrow morning in Morrill, NE going down to San Antonio.

I made my delivery in Fife,WA (Tacoma) Monday at 1000 PCT and was empty in 30 mins. I sent in empty notice and went to the Loves truck stop one mile down the road. I was very blessed to get a prime parking spot as another truck was leaving. Good thing because at 1130 PCT on a Monday morning there was one other space available and that's because it was hard to get in. Anyways, I went to the truck stop because I had not received a call from backhaul and figured since it was so late in the day I would be sitting till tomorrow.
I ate lunch, went for a walk, and checked the local bus route for transportation to Cheney Stadium, home of The Tacoma Rainiers AAA baseball club. About 4pm CT I called backhaul to confirm I was on the board. I was but they were still "working on it". At 4:59pm backhaul called to tell me no load today they would call me tomorrow. So off to the baseball game I went.
The next morning backhaul called at 0700 PCT with load info. Pick up at 1300 in Albany,OR going to Westfield,MA for Monday morning. There was an extra stop in Nampa,ID where I unloaded two pallets and reloaded two others. Took all of 45mins.
Tuesday night I planned the remainder of the trip and found that I could squeez in a needed 34hr restart if I could deliver Monday at 1200 instead of 0600. I called the broker to request change in delivery time. Twenty minutes later I got confirmation of 1200 delivery.
By the time I deliver on Monday I will have over 5300 miles in two weeks. Not bad considering I had to wait one day for the load that got me throught SLC, and then taking two days off enroute.

I'm doing a 34hr restart at the TA in Maybrook,NY. So this morning I bobtailed 10 miles to go shopping and visit Orange County Choppers. The OCC visit was ok. Some really cool bikes but the lighting and boundry ropes made for bad picture taking. The coolest one was the bike they built for the REEVES FOUNDATION. It was built for a person in a wheelchair. I wouldn't own one myself but they were cool to look at.

Just finished delivering my only stop here in San Antonio. Since I don't have a backhaul yet, I cruised over to the flying hook to do some laundry and catch a nap. Hopefully, I will get a backhaul up to Grand Prairie in the morning.
