new Wal-mart trucks

Saw a new truck at the local Wal-mart the other day. Looked like an International Prostar with a Thermo-king APU on it. Wish I had a camera on me to snap a pic of it. It looked like it still had the new truck smell on it. Not that know what that is. I've never driven a NEW truck. Anyway, just wanted to share.

Was it one of the light green and white trucks? Or did they use the standard Wal-Mart blue stripping?

Do you drive for WalMart? Out of Grandview? I had heard that Fairchild was hauling their freight North. That is not the road to be running teams on. Interstate Distributors tried it and it almost bankrupted them.
Appreciate any info.

Yeah I run out of Grandview, they don't have many that are going up there, they only have a few triple axle Walmart Refers for the journey. I have heard that Walmart figured out it was cheaper to truck them up then send them on ship.. needless to say the Green trucks are kind of nice looking. Like I said thats just what I have heard.. As for the interstate thing.. Remember Walmart has ALLOT more money to play with then Interstate....lol

Green Walmart

ALL THE NEW GREEN TRUCKS ARE THE HYBRIDS, THEY ARE TRYING THEM OUT IN DIFFERENT PARTS OF THE COUNTRY, BETTER FUEL ECONOMY. THEY ALSO CYCLE THEM SELVES OFF AND ON TO CHARGE THE BATTERY SYSYTEM. ALL THE REST OF THEIR TRUCKS GET THE APU'S SO THEY DON'T IDLE THE TRACTORS.
