Ohio

Anyone know of any good companies based out of Ohio and/or eastern Pennsylvania?

Are there any Ohioans here?

If you want to pull a tanker you might try Research Oil. Its been a few years but they were across the street from the old truckstop off Broadway in the flats. I see your location is Cleveland, so it shouldn't be hard to find. They were teamsters local 507 if things haven't changed. Manfredi runs tankers out of Newbury Oh. They are a good outfit. I grew up in Cleveland right around E 49th and Broadway, but I've been gone for years.

It appears that Research Oil is no longer. Apparently, it's owned by General Environmental Management now.

:O

"Vacation Policy
All full-time employees are awarded one week of vacation on their first anniversary. Two weeks of vacation are awarded upon completion of their second year of employment continuing through their seventh year of employment. Three weeks are awarded for the eighth through the thirteenth year and four weeks are awarded each year after 13 years."

That seems pretty dang good! I wonder what the catch is! Haha.

Motor Carrier Service (MCS) is a great company to drive for. They are in Northwood Ohio. They offer a sign on bonus to anyone referring drivers to them. My hub will split the sign on bonus to a driver that signs on and uses his name. They have paid vacations, paid holidays, 401K, performance bonuses, he is home every other day. Great company all around. He has been there 5 years.
