Gotta post this one. Yeah,I drove for Roehl, and they do get you home on time. Not quite the same as my stint with Swift. With Swift I wouild stay out for three weeks then it was like pulling teeth to get home.On one of my trips I was out three weeks, managed to get home at 1130 PM on Fri night.I was told to be ready to go back out on Mon. morning.Guess you can imagine what I told them. And that was this.Dont even think about dispatching me til Tues. morning.

Dont try Melton out of Tulsa. Hubby tried them for all of three months. he was told he's be in every 2 weeks. Ok, first month he was. 2nd month there he requested to be routed through the house at the end of the month for our son's 4th b-day. Got labeled as a whiner and never decent miles let alone home time at all. He didnt request time off, just asked to be routed through for one day so he could stop. Nope. they kept him on the west coast. He finally got a load back through PA, I met up with him with my truck, cleaned out his into mine and took the truck back to Tulsa. At that point he was on the road with them straight for 2 months and 5 days.

Don't be in such a rush to get home. Just choke the purple mushroom in the sleeper and put the man oil in your urine bottle. Then you can stay out longer and not worry about home time.

I went to Roehl training in Oct. 07. I started out midwest reg (7on, 2off) and switched to national (11-14 typically, 72 hours off). They say three days off, and if I got home after noon, the next day typically was the 1st day of hometime. recently, despite freight slowing down, they have demanded that i be available exactly 72 hours after returning home. Could be the new dsr, replacing the last new dsr. both kinda sucked.
