hubby drove for them in 07 for about 2 months. His truck was a POS. dont care how you run, legal or not.. As long as your log book was legal.. Other than that, got good miles.

They've gone paperless already. Just got mine installed a few weeks ago. They are still working on the bugs and learning the ins and outs but all in all it seems to be going very smoothly.

Their trucks aren't the greatest but they do keep them well maintained. They were audited not that long ago and were fined, along with some drivers, they went from having one of the best safety ratings to a bad one so they are nervous anymore. If you have an issue they get you into the shop right away or fix it out on the road.

D&D Sexton is a family owned company and small town ppl. The owners are very humble and don't act like big shots. I have worked for a LOT of companies in my 5 yrs of otr and by far this company is the BEST!! Most of their drivers are long term as well as the mechanics and are very friendly. It just seems like most of the drivers are more "professional" than the other companies I've worked for. No time for standing around and bs-ing I guess. LOL!!! The drivers tend to be a bit older as well. Maybe thats why the professionalism, who knows. I just love the fact that there are no drivers just sittin around and down grading the company. Too many times at different companies thats all you hear is complaining. Just like at the liars counter at the truck stops. Whine, whine, whine...just do the job and shut up already. LOL!!

Anyway, D&D for the most part is a GREAT company so far and I plan to stay a while. I finally found the "green grass" and I'm stayin!! :biggrin_255::biggrin_25514:

Sounds like good place to be. Are you running solo or team? What's the average distance per haul, and how many miles per week are you getting? How often do they let you get home?

Stay away from this company if you are smart:biggrin_2554:. I drove for this company already and I thought at first they were a good company, they say 3 weeks out I was out for over a month after I told dispatch I wanted to be home for my 10 year anniversary. Then it took me almost a month to get a cracked windshield(driver side) fixed that was a DOT violation but thank god I was not stopped, then I was ran off the road by a little truck on highway 60 in Fordland,MO and safety told me not to call local police or DOT since I did not need a tow truck and the pick up left the scene.I was told to take the load to the recevier and lie to them in hopes the would take the load. That was dumb cause it was eggs and they was destroyed, company refused and I took load to the yard and the company sold it to another place but states it was a total loss B.S.I asked was I termanatied they said no but we have a load going to TN and a driver that needs to go to White Pine,TN which was about 40 miles from my drop,I took the driver there and made my drop was home for 4 days and then I called the company for my load they told me to clean my truck out and travel lightly. They was going to termanate me,I was used to get the driver to TN and it was cheaper to ride with me then on a bus,now trying to get a new job and companys call D&D and they stomp on my name and give a bad report.:biggrin_25510::biggrin_25510::biggrin_25510::biggrin_25510: This company is a joke they would rather you run somebody over, instead I saved my life, the pickups life $140-160,000 truck and trailer and a multi million dollar lawsuit. But the was more in to there safety record then put the wreck on my dac,This company should burn to the ground, and they have the "Open door Slam it in your face policey".I do not care if someone from there sees this or another driver from there , this company did me wrong my truck #7120 with "HILLBILLY" wrote on the door and on the sleeper. So other drivers from this company can not b.s. new drivers....And they will BlackBall You:biggrin_25515::biggrin_25515::biggrin_25515:.
