    Is trippak not finding the scanner? I ###### around with mine last night & it couldn't find the recommended trippak scanner. It kept defaulting to my printer. After several hours of ####### with it & determined that I was going to toss it out the winder.... I figured it out!!


    Open up the trippak program. On the left menu, click on tools. Then click on scanning device selector. Another box will come up with a selection menu. Make sure you select trippak scanning 467. If it is on docket 467, trippak will not reconize the scanner.

    Redd,

    the proper scanner is selected. Drivers have been installed, reinstalled, etc. Program has been reinstalled.

    Scanner not showing up as imaging device (anymore) in device manager. Shows as "USB 2.0 Scanner"

    Software cannot connect to scanner, error says hardware issue. Attempted installation on two other computers and have identical error.

    Original installation took just minutes and scanner tested fine. Leads me to conclude the scanner has developed a problem. Not very reassuring since these need to bounce around in a truck all day, every day.

    Trippak themselves. They may be able to trouble shoot it over the phone.

    yeah, i'm behind now. should have been paid two trips today. almost too late to get them in today now. waiting for call back for them to reflash the scanner, could be anytime today/this evening. leaves me kind of stuck in the house waiting on the phone now, so much for a day off. let's hope this works.

About 180 on their website, and 125 at Walmart and on Amazon. However if I'd paid 125 at WM I would also have a replacement in my hands now, and load pay on the way to the bank.

    So much for day 1 of scanning.
