I had an interview with TK Stanley, Inc today and was immediately hired to drive here in Arkansas. They haul hazmat, big oil rigs, and anything else to do with oil/gas rigging. I had a friend who referred me and he seems to be quite happy - so far - but this is only his 3rd week with the company.

Has anyone driven for them or are you currently driving for them? I am putting feelers out just for my own peace of mind. I am currently driving for FFE. I like FFE, however they keep messing up my paychecks and I am tired of fighting the payroll office. I also like the idea of staying in Arkansas which is where we live. If anything happened to the kids, I could be home within hours.

I am on home leave now waiting for my truck to be fixed in Lancaster, Texas. I was in Texas last week during the tropical storm and my truck was hit by lightening. The electrical system in the truck got really messed up. When FFE tells me it is fixed, I will be going back there and giving my two week notice.

Is the payroll problem cased by you or the company?

Did you get your trips and recipts sent in on the right day or before the deadline on that day?

Is it possible that you may have made mistakes that caused the delay?

I am not trying to accuse you of anything but anytime I had problems at with my otr company it was caused by me not being able to get the trips turned in on time.

No - I have gotten everything to them on time. It is something else about THEM not getting their payment and I do not get paid until they do. Do not know if this is industry standard or not. Don't really care either. I fulfilled my obligation when I drove the miles and delivered the load on time - all safe and sound. I complete ALL the paperwork and send it in timely. Do not know what else I can do but it is not worth the hassle - especially if I can run local and still make good money.

I could understand not getting detention pay unless they do but waiting untill they recive payment before you get your check for the miles you run that is total bs.

You are not the owner or someone that has intrest in the comopany other
than being a company driver for them then you do not have to wait untill payment is made by the customer to get your check.
It is not your fault if the company gets stiffed on the bill and you should not have to loose money if they do.

Did they tell in orentaion that you check may be delayed untill the customer pays? If not then they should not be doing this.
