I talked to them once seems like you were out a couple days then home a day or so.Really depends on what kind of route you get. They seemed like a fairly good company but i never went to work for them i stayed were i was at.Seems like they told me you could make between 60,000 and 75,000 just depends on you.

This is the same thing I heard. I really wish there is someone that has worked for them that will respond. Thanks for your input.

Can you provide any additional information on MBM. I am thinking about applying and moving the family to Georgia if it goes alright. How is the pay, what is the least and most you can make? How is a typical day? Any information will greatly help influence my decision.

I dont know anything about the georga area but I am a mbm driver from columbus ohio and they are by far the best company I have ever driven for. Most of the routes are two day routes which means you are gone overnight. The main reason for the turnover rate is because drivers dont realize that we have to unload the truck. When a company says they have an open door policy mbm means it you can talk to anyone you need to from lower managment all the way to upper management I will say they are one of the strictest companys you will ever work for but it is worth it because as long as you do your job to the best of your ability you are treated like family.

I can't answer any questions on MBM as I have never worked for them but if your hubby is interested in food delivery I would like to suggest Martin Brower. We have two locations in Florida which may or may not be close to you but we are a predominantly local carrier for McDonalds & Chipotle restaruants. We are getting ready for our busiest season (summer) so most all of the centers should be hiring. The work can be pretty physical at times (just as MBM can) but the pay is very good. You can check them out online (martin-brower.com) or go by one their locations there if they are close by.

As for MBM, I see their truck around town here at the Chick-fil-a restaraunts and other places. Just consider the driving and work involved. You have to maneuver your truck in and out of tight places, unload by hand onto a two wheeler, up and down a ramp, in and out of the store (their freezer's and coolers), in all kinds of weather on top of driving between your stops.

The same applies to us only we have about 3 different ways we make deliveries but foodservice is not a job for everyone. We all pay pretty good but the work is very physical and demanding. It's not a typical Mon-Fri off on the weekend type of job. I don't want to turn you away but just consider everything before making a decision. The upside is that everyone still has to eat so we are busier than most other types of carriers. Good luck!

:biggrin_25516:Consider McLane Dist, they do all 'C' stores. Everything is boxed up into containers, so you just wheel it off and into the store, plus usually there are 2 drivers per truck. And nothing refrigerated.:biggrin_25516:
