Is a unsafe driving ticket about 2 years ago gonna hinder a company from hiring me

Was it for careless or reckless driving, then yes, for probably 3 years, also was the charge due to an accident? The only way you would really know is to ask a company, but if you are trying to get trained and don't have experience, it would definitely affect you.
