the bonus
Of 1 cent is for having
Hazmat endorsement
For all loaded miles
Sorry -
Go for it . It beats what's available to most others . I ran hopper bottom a few years it isn't too bad . Biggest problem is loads setting up and hanging in hoppers . You have long waits to load or unload sometimes but no problem if you're getting paid for it . Watch out for some shippers trying to overload you . Maximum loads can't be evenly split in hoppers and keep axles legal . When I loaded 50,000 lbs. it had to be 24,000 front hopper , 26 ,000 rear or I'd be over on my drives .

thanks
Does that pay structure sound right
On percentage -

got. To make a decision
Hopper
Or
Enddump
The freight rates are close
Bout
125 to 175 a ton
Some over 200
Canada. Stuff pays good
Like 210 to 220
Question
Which division has best freight base
Hopper
Or
End dump
I figure more freight less mt miles equal more money
Thanks for any advise -
But I'd go with end dump . Hopper bottoms are harder to clean out and are more likely to have loads hang up . I've had loads that were loaded hot take over 3 hours of back breaking beating and rodding to get out ..
On the Canada thing , will your truck go into Ontario or Quebec and need a speed limiter installed where it would not be governed at 65 m.p.h. if you stayed out of Canada ? Have you ever been convicted of a crime ? Some convictions will prevent entry . Most misdemeanors won't . I've run Canada as much as 4 to 6 times a month . You won't get the hassles most freight haulers get , especially if you come out empty . If you end up going into Canada pm me and I'll give you more info .Mortar Man Thanks this. -
truck is good for canada
I have no record
So should be cool there
Never be there though
What do I got to. Have
Birthcertificate
Or
Passport now
What is a twig card? -
The TWIC card is for entering ports and you probably won't need it .Mortar Man Thanks this.
