Depends if you're going on as a company or O/O.

They Broker out a lot of loads.

Better off as a company driver.

I have a friend who is best friends with a lady who was sort of a driver advocate with them. It was her job to try to keep their drivers happy. Well after working there for a long time she ended up quitting because she would go round and round with the recruiters there because the lied to recruits so bad to get them to come to work there. The recruiter even told her it is his job to lie to get them there and it is her job to keep them from leaving. She quit because she was disgusted with how much they lie. Sure would be enough reason to keep me from going to work there.

Well what can I say about carroll fulmer logistics corp.?
I worked for c f for right at a year I got plenty of miles they seem to keep
there trucks maintained,I myself hardly ever sat waiting on a load,if I did it
was maybe just till the next day.I got along ok with my dispatcher for the most part, they have trip pak scanning so you get paid for everything you did for that week as long as it was scanned b4 5pm wed.over all I liked my time
    there.

what can I say bad about cf?well as I stated B4 I got plenty of miles for the week, but they never seem to fall within the pay period which is wed. to wed.
you might say whats the difference as long as you got paid for what you done what difference does it make what pay week you get paid on.think about it like this if you got 2800 miles for the week but only 1500 of it fell within the current pay period, deduct what you spend on the road,Taxes, and any other deductions you might have come pay day there is nothing left.

and there was the home time thing they say 7-10 days out or 1 day for every seven out well I myself on several times I was out 2 1/2 to 3 weeks and was having to beg to get home.I don't have anything really bad to say about them. But you have to get them trained right away on what you expect.I'm going back to work for them so I don't guess they are to bad.hoped that helped

What Mr.E says is pretty much the gospel with them- I've been with them for about 4 weeks after having been off the road for over a year. Not a bad company, but E is right in that you need to make your expectations clear up front, and he is 110% right on how the payroll cutoff dates get screwy with your miles-I got $280 last week, but this week will be well over $1200 due to how the cutoff dates ran. Also, I just got home after being out for the past 4 weeks. Also, the pay description is correct as well. And being new, you will not get a KW--you will get a 2005-2007 Mack Vision...and DO NOT go pick up an abandoned truck for them--you will get screwed, and get a ###### nasty truck.

    mrE Thanks this.

I was told that by the end of the year the whole fleet will be new trucks but you know how that goes as well.
