It use to be a good company, they use to have alot of bonus' and pay good, they still have ok pay for the industry but cut alot of the bonus' raised the cost of insurance and say they dont have a seniority system but they play favorites in its place, the equipment is good to catch the customers eye but pass the cost on to the employee by cutting everything that made it worth working their for, so if you decide to work for them dont expect to much.
does anyone know dillon transport

In the Tampa Bay Area I have talked to several drivers who say they are forced to work 6 days a week.
-
I work for them in Tampa. Not too bad 10 to 12 hours a day 6 days a week, percentage of load for pay. They tell you up front you WILL be working as long as you have hours to drive.Sleeping in my own bed at night makes it well worth it.I drive dry bulk but they have a lot of different things they haul. They are still adding a lot of new drivers so they are a bit confused at times but,it is really a pretty decent place to work.

I wonder why there is a Driver shortage? After reading these comments and other threads you get the picture. These companies are ruthless. Dillion I guess is one of them. One of my friends worked for CTL in Florida. They were the worst trucking company I have ever heard of. There equipment was dangerous and very old. They paid peanuts. My friend finally got enough experience to move on.
