Didn't say they weren't hiring, BUD. Just said they weren't a great outfit from ears to the ground. I've read 100 posts for every 1 I've typed. You'd be surprised what you can learn.

 

My friend called me yesterday to ask about the company I drive for (Colonial Freight Systems out of Knoxville, TN). His brother was a driver for Cargo Transporters.
The other day all there drivers were told to dead head back from where ever they were, clean out their trucks and head back to the house.
Cargo Transporters are shutting their doors.

 

Really? 3 of their trucks were at our warehouse yesterday afternoon when I came back from my pick up. They were all getting loaded with an outbound Disney order we had going to Florida.

 

Thats strange, I was over there yesterday for an interview and road test, checking my references now. Orientation starts a week from Tuesday. They had drivers heading out while I was there. Sounds like your buddys brother just got canned.

 

Could be. I just looked at their web page, and it said nothing about it either. I guess I was mistaken.
