Looking into making the jump to OTR. Have over 2 1/2 yrs experience with a very reputable freight co and would like info and advice as to which company would hire with my experience.
Thanks

Are you still working with the LTL Company?
-
Yes. Accident free.

Well if you are still employed by your LTL company, i suggest you stay. Because, right now OTR sucks right now. Man you just dont know how many guys out there that will die for you postion including me. What makes you want to leave your LTL Company and go with a OTR company. For me plz stay driver you just dont know how you have it made right now. Im not trying to knock you idea driver but the grass is not greener on the other side.
rjones56 Thanks this. -
Yeah I know I've got it pretty good. Great co, excellent bennys and pay, but, my goal was to move to out of this area up to Northern Cal, way north and there is just no work up there.
Hoping to transfer as a rural zone driver but I don't think that is going to happen so I was looking for other alternatives. -
Oh ok well thats well understood then, if you are thinking of going OTR. I would Recommend a medium size to small company. Sorry i cant help with any companies, but im not from that areas. sorry tho.

Thanks, trying to look at all my options. I know PG&E (pacific gas and electric) are big up there so I'll have to pick someones brain about that.
