I've been noticing ads on Craiglist Denver lately fo MBM and Sygma. Sygma "says" they're paying 75k, not sure. My big problem is I think i'm to old to do that type of job lol. But have been thinking about looking into it anyway.
Any info on the Denver location would be appreciated

I don't work for them but I believe they make that much. I work for foodservice Co. We have drivers 40's 50's 60's still runnin a ramp been here for 15-20+ yrs and they got the option to do shuttles and still ramp. If you feel physically in decent shape you can do it, it'll suck for a couple weeks til you get used to it.

I worked for Sygma in Denver(Aurora) and transfered out to Atlanta Sygma for it's opening in '05 . . .I am now hauling produce for just as much money as I was unloading that nightmarish crudd . . .

wow out here in pa mbm is running adds for drivers but only states 45-55k to start. so is reinhart foods. so im trying to ponder how you guys make so much more. yet us food service here starts you off between 19-21 hr to start with 4 day work weeks and is #### near impossible to get in, I should know I been applying for 3 years.

btw when I say pa I mean lehigh valley.

imo I think for the work you put you guys dont get paid enough.

I get paid 22.40hr , but im home every night and I know ill break sweat once a weak or so

When I started out at Sygma Pa years ago I started at $52k a year. Top driver the previous year made $113k, and that's what they called him, 113. Many guys were making $70k plus. Money good, work sucked. Now, of course, I love my home everyday by noon daycab job with the truck parked beside my house. Plus I get to enjoy my free weekends. Sygma is a good starter company though. I'd go there before any mega carrier that's for sure.

The reason you can make good money at US Foods is after 90 days you can get off hourly and get paid by the case which makes great money. I know guys that were makin 1000-1300 gross a week as extra board guys only been there a year or less workin 4 days only.
