Let me set the record straight about WTI and Boyd. "WTI IS NOT OWNED BY BOYD IS NOTHING LIKE BOYD AND IS NOT GETTING TAKEN OVER BY BOYD AND THERE DISPATCHERS DO NOT WORK OUT OF BOYD IN BIRMINGHAM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" They have a simple business relationship where they buy equipment and other such things to get the volume discounts that the oversized companys get thats it nothing else. I would also like to add WTI is a great place to work.

WTI drivers average 500 to 600 more in gross a week than boyd because they have the freight for the trucks not like boyd with too many trucks not enough freight

I was holding Owens Corning in Memphis, TN and spoke with two pilots to WTI. Most pilots I have spoken, as the WTI and hatred Boyd.

I am a current driver for wti. I have a great relationship with my dispatcher and get great rates and all the running you want to do. I am home every weekend and have a brand new truck. Greta company to be with and benifits are also very good compared to what i hear from other companies. Wti is by far the best flatbed deal going and they are offering a 1000.00 bonus to company drivers. Pm me with any questions or i can help you get signed on.
Skunk_Truck_2590 and seawind Thank this. -

From the WTI recruiting page
WTI Transport has been in the transportation industry, along with its parent company Boyd Bros., for more than 50 years.
From Fleet Maintenance
In 1997, Boyd Bros, purchased Welborn Transport, which is now WTI Transport. That company is also a flatbed carrier with a shorter length of haul.sevenmph Thanks this. -
Talked with recruting this morning. They currently aren't hiring without flatbed experiance but they can take me after the first of the year other wise right now you have to have 3 months FB and 12 months OTR. Gotta figure out what I can do to make income in the mean while.

Checked out your references there, and neither company show any relation to each other. Recruiters on both sides told me directly they don't have any affiliation of ownerships. Just a troll post me thinks -
I've been reading two different answers about Boyd and WTI. Are they related or not?
