Here is our experience with Miller and the livestock side. When they paid miles it was 28 cents per mile or precentage was on a sliding scale fro 18% to 32%.

They ran hard and illegal as all get out, home time consisted of 34 hours in Greeley, or 12 hours at home and we're only 3 hours from Greeley. It sucked. But if you like to run and run hard (forced dispatch) then go for it. I would steer clear and look into some one else. They just don't pay you to run that hard.

    Mahalo for the information.

We're trying to run away from that type of atmosphere to something more suited to our needs.

    We'll keep looking around.

Again, thank you for the update.

    Good move.

Crete has a terminal in North Salt Lake. Dry box. Good company. Good pay. Good insider-attitudes toward drivers. I wouldn't even think of going to work for an outfit like LWM today.

Hi there cupcake, Hope you don't mind me asking how did you go about finding a company to sponsor you with employment in the USA. I have been trying to find a legitimate recruiter now for a while and looked on green card for America and truckersforusa , they seem legit but I would like some advice from someone who has gone through the process.
Many thanks for any info you can pass on. Am staying at some friends in NC till I go back to the cold weather back home, so hoping to get some genuine info to to start with.
I appreciate any help yourself or anyone else can give me.
    Cheers!

Am from near Chester .. you?
How long did it take for the whole application and visa process if you don't mind me asking. I have many questions, after all these years driving in the UK, it would be great to be able to do the same in the US. Is this the first job you have had in the US?

Well that is uncanny because I also live in Deeside, Ewloe/Hawarden to be exact lol. I always say near Chester as no one ever seems to know where I am on about otherwise.
Yes I have been on the greencrds site. Am probably going to call at some point this next week or so.
