Any body had any experience good or bad with Mason Dixon Lines? Any info would be appreciated. This is an all owner operator company so I figured this would be the best place to look. Thanks.

Owned by the same guy who owns Universal Am-Can, Central Transport, Mohician, MDII, The Ambassador Bridge, half of Michigan along with a whole list of other things. Do a search for some of those other names here and see what you get.

I'm with Louisiana Transportation (same as Mason Dixon) and they are a ok company to work for. The newest thing they have started is holding the last load of the week for your next weeks deductions. It cost me $360 a week for all my deductions so thats killing me right now. Other then that and them being on you all the time about your logs being perfect its not bad.

I always wondered who owned the Ambassador Bridge...hehe! LTI, are you getting good loads and are you making money? Doesn't that holding back of your last load eventually catch up with itself and not hurt you? I looked at their load board and I must say there was quite a bit available.

Yeah eventually it would catch up but with the holidays work has been dead and its making it tuff. Im sure thats everywhere though. At the beginning of the year I was making around $4000-4500 a week gross but that has dropped to about $2500. One good thing is they have a lot of agents and you can pull loads for any of the sister companies. If you like staying on the road you can make a lot more. I just prefer to be home a few times a week.
