On the other hand if everyone was allowed to carry a gun there may not have been so many deaths today. I see the teacher would have been killed regardless as it was unexpected.

I hate guns to be honest, but I know they protect us. It's those who get angry over traffic, arguments etc that has caused all the gun laws and I don't blame them.

I don't understand the hatred for guns. They are an inanimate object. A tool for good or evil in the hands of the person that is using it. Even if we were some how able to round up all the guns in America and destroy them nutcases would turn to other means. I've never looked but understand that its relatively easy to build a bomb from directions off the net. One or two well placed bombs would do just as much if not more damage.

Simply hating fire arms is not the solution.

An armed society is a polite society.

Also if you remember the recent shooting in UT where a nutcase opened up on a mall. The off duty cop carrying his concealed weapon was able to put a much quicker stop to the mayhem than if they would have had to wait for outside cops to show up. A properly trained normal joe with a concealed legal weapon most likely would have been able to do the same thing. I know I would in the blink of an eye if I were in a situation like that.

Well lets wake up then... If your not legal you don't belong here. Or to get a student visa needs to take a very long, tedious, investigative process, to try and weed out the nut jobs.

IMHO, guns shouldn't even be an issue, period. We all should, rather, ask ouselves...what in the hell is wrong with this society anymore? Suicide bombers are rampant across seas, people killing Amish children, and now this madman massacring 31 innocent people with a smile, reportedly, on his face.

I am deeply concerned, not only that this WILL happen again and get worse, but that our society is literally breaking down. I deal with a lot of people on this internet and some of you would be stunned at the pure hatefulness I see at times. MOST people seem so bitter and empty anymore. All I beg of you all is to search your souls and FORGET THE #### GUNS TALK and, rather, wonder what is wrong with all of us? This is indicative of a much larger problem in our society today. In other words, he is a SYMPTOM of society's problems overall is what I'm getting at.

  • Gunman identified as Cho Seung-hui, a 23-year-old English major from South Korea
  • Cho called a loner by university official
  • Reasonable to assume Cho was shooter in both dorm and classroom, police say
  • Police: Victims found in four classrooms, stairwell

MySpace Blog Related To Virginian Shooting
According to his post this guy had knowledge about what was going to happen at the Virginia Tech Universaty. The time shows that this was posted before the shooting. Fake or not, it's worth posting I guess.
