My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone affected by the VT tragady! What kind of world do we live in where we can't even send our kids off to school? School is where they are supposed to be safe!

On a second note, I guess it is time for the other sickos to try and scare other people. Just this evening I was watching my local news before heading into work. And wouldn't you know the top two stories were, #1, the details of the VT tragady and #2, a 15 year old told a security guard at a local high school here in Rapid City, that he saw a man with a gun out in the parking lot. The security guard told school officials about the report, and school officials shut down the ENTIRE school district. School was shut down at around 9:30 yesterday morning. The 15 y/o student finally admitted that it was a hoax at around 1:30.

That image is disturbing on so many levels. Something like that needs to be tracked down.

"This may be a very new, critical component of this investigation. We're in the process right now of attempting to analyze and evaluate its worth," said Col. Steve Flaherty, superintendent of Virginia State Police. He gave no details on the material.
