 Troopers Kill Gunman In Colorado Courthouse 16 Jul 07 [ State troopers shot and killed an armed man who attempted to enter Gov. Bill Ritter's office inside the state Capitol this afternoon. The man claimed that "he was the emperor, and he was here to take over state government," said Ritter's spokesman, Evan Dreyer. | those troopers just saved the taxpayers of Colorado a lot of hassle...as mario said, if he hadn't been killed, he would've just been committed to a state hospital where all of his meds and meals would've been paid for by John Q Colorado. Having once had a police officer as a family member, I know how difficult it is for an officer to end someone's life. But I for one applaud these troopers for doing their duty.
