| Yep once a company like that takes over, they are no longer concerened about answering to anyone, and since its private, guess they will no longer be listed on the exchange, and union ppl better watch out.

| I agree with Trucker.W. Private companies tend to be more interested in the bottom line and also very protective of any and all financial info. How would you know if the warranty on the vehicle is to be backed up by sound business management? |

| Going private can be good Warren Buffet buys and brings companies home to make them bigger and better. Public companies must do what ever it takes to make profit on paper. Lie cook books, or they will be voted off the board or fired. Private companies must make investors happy. Either break the company up and sell parts or spin off separate companies. This is what I feel will happen |

| I have worked for many private companies. Not just in the trucking field. Business fields. The buck is the most important. They have tended to be very secretive on things. They will always take the side of the income versus employee. I spent 20 years at one such company. The private company will probably sell off the various parts of Chrysler to maximize the rate of return. This will allow the companies to profit from transactions between themselves. It will definately be in the best interest of the investors. |

If they break the company up and sell salvage price, bad. You have to understand that many companies are trapped by negotiated union terms. The way things are you cant run a company with unrealistic benefits the union has worked out from the day it was profitable. We live a country where we buy every thing from walmart and china. But we want American pay. It doesn't work that way. Sooner or later it has to equalize out. We will make less as a country and china will make more. It is called a free economy. Every time you decide to shop the lower price you bring our standard of living down and china's up. sooner or later it will be = . |

| Yes the unions are in the picture. Yes people shop at Walmart (myself included). My new Dodge truck was bought from Chrysler, but made in Mexico. Who would have guessed. |

Our problem is Mexico will never be a good partner. And clinton sold our birth right to china(most favorite trade status) |
