Give to charity — but don't be a sucker

Americans are incredibly generous. We are expected to donate about $300 billion to charity this year, half of which will be contributed between Thanksgiving and the end of the year.
Right now, more than a million charitable organizations are trying to get a share of this money. That explains all the calls, letters, and e-mail solicitations you have no doubt been getting the past few weeks.
The vast majority of charitable organizations are honest and will put your money to good use – most, but not all. And even the legitimate ones sometimes use questionable solicitation tactics to get contributions.

I always give to as many charities as possible...especially the ones that take up money for children that don't have homes....we have such a bad prob in America with homeless kids...I watched a documentary not long ago and they are so young to be homeless and on the streets trying to make a living....America needs to take alot my notice to the children running around on our streets rather than sending money we need here in the USA...to other countries!

Thumbs up I agree!

Give to charity — but don't be a sucker...you can look up most charities on the Inet, then see how much goes to ADMIN (sorry gal, ha ha) and how much is directly given to the 'cause!' Then give....but dont let any cop out keep you from so doing!
