San Diego Border Patrol Discovers Wire Possibly Strung to Decapitate Agents

San Diego Border Patrol Discovers Wire Possibly Strung to Decapitate Agents

2/14/08
Quote:
A Border Patrol agent discovered a metal wire strung between two border fences in San Diego that appears to have been placed there to injure officials, reports. When pulled tight the wire appears to have the capacity to decapitate a person.

Border Patrol claims that if the wire, strung about 150 feet between San Diego's two border fences, were pulled on from the Mexican side it would be high enough to strike an agent on an all-terrain vehicle in the neck.
The agency says the wire discovery comes amid rising violence targeted at Border Patrol agents in San Diego.

This is an old trick used by Marijuana growers. The other thing they use to do is hang fishing hooks on fishing line from trees right at head level.

When your going through the woods your normally looking down and not paying attention from what hanging in the trees.

US border patrol has been firing tear gas bombs into Tijuana neighborhoods along the fence where people jump the fence. Many old persons and babies have been hospitalized. i really have no sympathy for border patrol agents.... when someone does something mean to them. Cuz

Border Patrol has fired tear gas after being pelted by rocks and bottles. I wish they would use live ammo on these maggots. You might have some sympathy if you were the one whose head was opened up by a large rock. Tijuana is a cesspool. Years ago you could take your car down there and get a great roll and tuck upholstery job at a fair price. Now it's too dangerous to even feel safe on a day trip. Carpet bomb the place.

Are you related to Ruben Naverrette by any chance?

Why are these old persons and babies living near the damn fence anyways? Oh, I suppose no one else gets CS-ed either, just old people and babies...The victims yeah right, my heart bleeds

When is it ok for people to disobey the laws of another country as in ignoring that country's sovereign territory and traipsing over its border like they have the right to do so. When was the last time you saw an American citizen making a run to the border of Mexico or even Canada for that matter.

I'm all for getting some Cat D12's and some Cat 657's and excavate a friggin' moat a mile wide by a mile deep. Mexico is the only third world country that has an abundant wealth of minerals and oil but their biggest export is their poor. You hear that sucking sound down near San Diego? That's all the cash... $10 Billion dollars a year just from California alone getting sucked down south to fill the coffers of the Mexican politicos.

Tear gas which is not fatal compared to wires that can decapitate. I just don't see the equality.

Why is it ok to tear gas a neighborhood when someone that does not live there throws rocks ?

Do you honestly think that someone climbing the fence, risking life and limb to find work, is going to stop and string a wire ? No they are going to run like hell and pray they don't get caught, so that they might keep their family from continued stravation......
