I see alot of different subjects posted on here but I dont see anyone posting anything about illegal immigration.

Does it even matter to you? Does it matter to you that the mexicans come over here protesting our laws and demanding amnesty?
I have no problem with anyone (no matter what race) trying to make a better life for theirselves but I do have a problem with them protesting our laws when they are not citizens.

Next to the high gas prices, illegal immigration seems to be one of the bigger problems in this country. According to the amnesty advocates, if your against illegal immigration and in favor of border security then your a racist and race has nothing to do with it. It all has to do with HOMELAND SECURITY.

Anyone want to chime in on this one?

Immigration is not the problem. Illegal immigration is the problem.

As much as I would prefer we round them up and ship them out, that ain't gonna happen in our lifetimes, so we better find a way to assimilate these people into society as much we can.

Close the border.

Criminals deported.
No drivers licenses.
Punish employers.
No social services.

This is a subject that makes my blood absolutely boil. I will take HIGH gas prices over Law Breaking Illegal Immigrants any day of the week.
Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with the Mexican people, I have a problem with people being here illegally. I have a Mexican gentlemen that works for me that came here LEGALLY and is one of the hardest working most decent people you will ever meet, but I have real issues with the illegals.

And to add to Ronno's list....

Close the border.
English only.
Criminals deported.
No drivers licenses.
Punish employers.
No social services.
Punish people who rent housing to them.

Mexicos #1 source of revenue is the oil that they export and the #2 source of revenue is the $3 billion a year that the mexicans send back to mexico and that is why their president Caldarone is pushing our government to pass the amnesty and I agee with you 100%.

Shut the border down even if you have to put armed military on the entire length of the 2000 mile border. Put harsh penalties on the employers and take away the jobs and they will go back to mexico and then they can protest their own laws and try to make their own country a better place to live. Idiots like Hillary Clinton and McCain say they want to bring them out of the shadows, well, last year when the were flooding the streets protesting our laws and demanding amnesty, it didnt look like they were in the shadows then. Its seems like that would have been a good time for ICE to round up alot of them and head them back to mexico like a herd of cattle.

There are evil baseball players that are taking HGH to take care of.(not that that isn't a problem)But my word.
Next there going to go after Bill Bellicheck and the Patriots,becouse there are more importent things then going after the real problems in this Country.

So you see the real problem wasn't fixed when the Dim's were put back in charge of Congress.Just more of the same B.S.

Its appauling that Congress actually has hearings on baseball players taking steriods when there is much much BIGGER problems in this country to deal with. Whats next, Congress having hearings on whether Britney Spears should regain custody of her childern?

Not to appear supercilious to any of you, but those of us in California were talking about this problem twenty years ago. With the exceptions of Arizona and Texas, most of the other states thought it was a California Problem. Now the problem is everywhere. My kids school districts have announced that because of Arnold's draconian budget cuts they'll be cutting more programs but not ESL!

I was born in Lynwood California which is next to South Gate where at one time the GM plant ran there. It was a middle class paradise back in the 60's. Now when you go through Lynwood and South Gate all of the signs are in Spanish. The cities in the area all look like Tijuana. The politicians in these cities are just as crooked as any Mexican politician.

It's not that I am against immigrants, my great-grandfather came from Germany back in the late 1800's. He was the typical immigrant in those days. He learned the language and never would take a hand-out or under-cut anyone. He had a lot of pride for his new adopted country. That same pride doesn't exist for these illegal immigrants. They may work here, buy a house, have their children educated (at the taxpayers expense) but they will always be Mexican. Nothing wrong with having pride about your country But if a country permits you all of its freedoms that a natural born citizen has, show some respect, show some gratitude.

This is the only country I know of where you can walk in only wearing the shirt on your back, not having two nickels to rub together, and you still have a chance to make something of yourself.

All I see and hear nowadays is the complaining and the whining from the illegal immigrants, their lobbying groups, and our liberal politicians about the Rights of Immigrants. All of the noise for a people who we didn't invite here. I don't hear anyone speaking up for the average American worker who has had his/hers wages cut or being labeled as lazy because they are unwilling to work a job that pays for S*** and have to listen to the Bull S**** that the Illegal immigrant works harder and better than the American worker. Those idiots forget that the same American workers they bash, helped end WWII, send mankind to the Moon and back safely; and build the best Industrial complex in the world.


I just hope that what is going on in the smaller states regarding Illegals catches on with the rest of the country before it's too late, and the great American culture dies with a whimper.
