USA Learn English or go to jail, judge tells Spanish speakers
HARRISBURG, PA - The next time they appear in Judge Peter Paul Olszewski Jr's. courtroom, four young Hazelton men who ran afoul of the law had best know their ABCs. Learning English is a central part of the sentence that Olszewski imposed on the Spanish-speaking men, who earlier this week pleaded guilty to charges stemming from a robbery.
The unusual sentence requires that the four, ranging in age from 17-22, return to his court a year from now to take an English test and show that they can speak and write the language.
If they fail, the men will have to serve the full two years of the four-to 24-month sentence that Olszewski imposed.

of course most of the judges "sentences" are media stunts - (he has been working on his political career for years - like the sheriff in Az that runs the pink undie tent city)

There is nothing wrong with the sentence he gave them.
Most of the illegals dont want to learn english anyway which tells you they have no intentions of becoming citizens because learning the language is a requirement for citizenship.

They need to learn the language and get full time jobs so they are not freeloading off of us taxpayers like many of them do.
