China: 7.8 Quake, Children Killed - 12 May 08 - Truckers' Trucking Forum

80% of buildings collapsed in one hard hit county.

Updates

China hit again. More aftershocks exceeding 4.3 hit this area within the 24 hours. A total of 5 events. Four exceeding 4.8 magnitude.

Last report was 5.2 aftershock. Attempting to connect to server, checking for latest updates....Server unable to update telemetry.

Last update occured 03:34 GMT All "shakes" are coming from the same area +/- a couple of minutes of angle.

Not good. As these "aftershocks" were getting stronger. And are occuring at the same depths.

WiseOne's Comments, yea, those poor people are truly in a living hell right now. I feel for them man. I have to give China credit though, they are sending myriad troops and trying their best to deal with a horrendous situation.

While they didn't ask for "help" per se. They did ask for equipment.

And we're not allowed to "have" a gun either. And we do have documented proof with 1000's of witnesses, this occured in New Orleans....SWAT style seizures.

So your point seems mute.

My point is
I would rather live in a country that allows the freedom of the people to post and or report what really happens
Your post is a good example
In China we never really know whats happening
The truth must be OKed by the government and cleaned via dept of propaganda
