Child prostitutes sell themselves on Craigslist

Man, what's the world coming to?

Craigslist in the spotlight again. Whoever created that site must be feeling some heat right now because it seems to be a magnet for controversy.

And as for the prostitutes. Where in the heck are those kids parents?

Pimps/parents ... sadly, sometimes, one and the same. For most they don't come from a "Waltons" or "Little House on the Prairie" family. The abuse they live with at home is just as bad, or in some cases worse, than what they see on the street.

Every once in awhile I hear about a prostitute bust fron Craig's list
But they have a section called erotic and its 99% hookers and their rates
They will moderate some of the nude photo's but unlike this site they must have a lack of mod's because its full of them showing their wares with phone numbers

Craiglist section erotic is no different then 100,000 other sites out there.. Why does craigslist get picked on so much? well its an easy target for cops to pick on. Many sites require you to become a member, something cops can not do legally, so, the girls release more info in these sites.. Craigs list is open and does not require a membership thus easy for cops to pick on. Now there still are many and many other sites like craigslist that are open.. I think the media also plays into the mentioning of craigslist in these matters because it is so widely known..

For the most part Craigslist is a great website, just that one section "erotic" always seems to be an issue with the media.. Take it out and nothing will change, the girls simply will post in other sections of
Craigslist.. What next? shut the site down? sound a little extreme and again it would solve nothing.. Why? because the girls will just post on other sites (many post on several sites anyways to get their business opportunities out)... Sure child position is a serious problem, I personally would start looking at the parents... Most girls who enter the business have been molested as a child, thus looking into the family to see where the real problem comes from...

But prostitution itself is not going away.. no matter how we waste tax dollars on fighting it, its not going to go away.. Simply need to legalize it, have the girls go threw mandatory testing (non of this random testing but every girl gets tested on a regular bases) Make these places be away from our neighborhoods, away from the highways (like the 1000's of xxx videos store's you see now on the interstates) Basically keep them in industrialized areas or on the outskirts of towns... make it safe legal and as clean as possible, then the government side tax it.....

There is a safer way for it to happen...

craigslist is not all that bad. yes prostitution is wrong but there other things on there that are legit and worth while. i think the site myspace is so much worse. seems like everytime i turn around they are in the news for a missing or abducted female. just the few past days there was another case of a missing girl in vermont. supposidly she went to meet some guy she met on there.
