China confiscates Bibles from American Christians

BEIJING - Chinese customs officials confiscated more than 300 Bibles on Sunday from four American Christians who arrived in a southwestern city with plans to distribute them, the group's leader said.
The Bibles were taken from the group's checked luggage after they landed at the airport in the city of Kunming, said Pat Klein, head of Vision Beyond Borders. The group, based in Sheridan, Wyoming, distributes Bibles and Christian teaching materials around the world to "strengthen the persecuted church," according to its Web site.

LOL America goes way out of its way to appease all cultures and beliefs.. China has shown itself to be a country not willing to allow people to have a "choice", and I believe America should oppose trade with this country and fund the economies of countries who do... China is not doing as they said they would and that being making a better life for the people of China.. Instead they are building a huge (not that they did not have one before) military, Arms and spying programs of of the trade profit they are making from America... China leader are evil and nothing will change till you start hitting them in the pocket...

We need to send some of them other groups over there,the ones who start beaton on the doors early on saturday mornings,see how they like that.

Lots of underground Christians in china.Have a friend that was over there for about a year and says the Christian movement is growing leaps and bounds even with the threat of imprisonment.

They just don't threaten them with imprisonment they are threaten with death and beatings.....

Your absolutely right it is their country and we should not support such countries with huge trade agreements.. We need to stop trading with China completely till their leaders start letting the people of China (by the way that is their country just as well as the leaders) have a choice.. The people of China want a choice but no let to have one by their leaders...
