Since she has not been named, it leads me to think that she is extremely embarrassed by this and that it may not have been intentional like Roadkill439342 has shown in his example of a way it could happen.

I agree that this woman was an idiot on many levels, but I really have to disagree with your statement above. This woman's sex life really has no bearing on her teaching abilities (her video proofing is a whole different matter). We are in the 21st Century, teachers no longer have to abide by the highly restrictive, and highly subjective, rules that we once had to.

You are more than welcome to disagree with me and it's a right we all have. How boring would it be if we all agreed?

More's the pity that they aren't held to a higher standard being they are to educate our kids and they have them for 6 or 7 hours a day, 5 days a week. Teachers CANNOT be pedophiles.
Burning the flag is a despicable, but Constitutionally protected activity.
They CANNOT have children by their students. Even if their student is of legal age, they will still lose their job for having sex with a student.

The teachers who grab headlines are the tiny amount who break the law. EVERY profession has their bad apples that spoil the publics perception of them. Most teachers are hard-working, self-sacrificing individuals who are passionate about children and about education. Diversity is a wonderful thing, but so are rules.

I don't see the big problem...so its a little sex education.

If it were not for sex...none of those kids would exist to begin with. I never understood all the "taboo" surrounding sex. I don't wanna see it in public either....but so what if the kids saw a "titty shot and Ms. Whatshername gittin some, its not like she was "doing it" in class.

She made a mistake...we all do it.

Get over it...

I agree, it might not have been intentional, but it doesn't change the fact that it happened. If nothing else she should be reprimanded. I guess I just expect more care being given in dealing with children. She was totally stupid for not viewing that video before giving it to those kids. Is everyone sure that is the only time she faux pas'd? Or is that the reason they left her name out of the news report? Or is she one of those teachers without credentials?

She should be reprimanded or fired. That was a very serious mistake. But her reprimand/firing should be because she made a serious error, NOT because she filmed her sexual escapades in her off hours.
