| Sounds like an end of the year joke that everyone enjoyed. One year in my class the kids took up money and hired a "fat lady". I'm talking about the fat lady that sings at the end of the opera and wears the horns and chest plate. The reason was I was always saying "school is not over till the fat lady sings" It was a complete suprise how they got this done without my knowledge. The complete grade level was called into the gym to see the "fat lady" sing a song to me. Yep teaching used to be fun and I had fun with my kids. One group even dressed up like me and took turns teaching the class. I sat in their desk and acted like a student when they were teaching. It was a complete hoot....I laughed my arse off at them. |
