Flex Frac is a company based out of Fort Worth. They have leased over 300 trucks (according to them) and are advertising heavily for additional O/O's to sign up.

I've heard mixed reviews on their operations.

I am interested in the Alice, TX Transwood Logistics but I heard that they weren't a good company to go to work for. Could anyone please let me know what they are really like.

The owner operator of my truck is looking for a new company. He has a great Tractor, Pneumatic Trailer and Blower to lease on to a Frac Sand company in the Alice, TX region.

I am trying to help my boyfriend who is currently hauling his first load of frac sand. He was just pulled into a weigh station who told him that his front axle is 1600 lbs over and needs to shift the sand. What is the best way to do this?

In a BULK trailer your best bet is to put it in reverse and hit the brakes.

Especially that fly ash that moves like water! When hauling that stuff after scaling be very very gentle on the brakes! I got a $150 over on the steers and drives from hitting them to hard when a 4 wheeler pulled out in front of me! I swear it felt like I was in a smooth bore hauling tar! Hit me so hard the truck jumped at least 5 feet!

There are many apps for that trolley handle but the main not to use it reason is probably stamped on the handle that in many of my old trucks said in English "Not for stopping or parking"

I know some of you read my how to adjust your auto adjusting slack adjusters when braking but as stated earlier many O/Os and L/P drivers will use it to "save" their tractor brakes.

The one thing they're NOT doing is getting the auto adjustment by not using their foot brake. The trailer might be in adjustment but the tractor due to lack of foot brake use will only get larger on the gap and if pulled around back of a scale for an inspection I'd be doing a LOT of stops applying at least 30 pounds on those brakes hoping that you got enough brakes done to get them into adjustment!

But it's getting where a lot of companies are not specing them on new equipment either due to that or because rookies are using them improperly and also due to the cost they think is not needed.

    Army91W and Higgy Thank this.
