I'm guessing that you've left Cheesemen and went here 6 months ago??? I was a little curious about Cheesemen and wanted to get a little, or a lot of insight. I've been seeing alot of their trucks not far from my home twenty and have done some research to find that they have a yard in Duncan SC. Anyway, good luck with the lady friend and the oil fields... -
Have been following your post for several weeks, when I have time to get online. Some months ago made the decision to terminate my lease, park the truck and head to the patch. Just wanted to ask if work appears to be still up or has it dropped any. Haven't made enough post to pm you directly. Will be leaving the 1st week of Aug, bringing my 5th wheel so housing is not an issue.

As for work, the Midland/Odessa oilfield is still trucking along. I would just go door to door filling out applications...even if you're a newbie. The main places I guess is along I-20, 191, East 158 ( Garden City hwy & I-20), and business Loop 20. Just look for the "CDL driver's wanted" signs. -
Do Kirkland Bros or MKH hire winch truck owner operators. I hear there is a lot going on for rig movers but having a hard time finding the name of companys hireing independents on the internet. I'll drive down there and knock on doors if I can get a few solid leads.
