I would steer clear of Quality Carriers.I know for a fact that some affiliates are a true circus.Not going to say they all are, but you better be careful.........they will paint a picture of cake and ice cream and rainbows then stab you in the back.:smt117

SAIF;
I read some of your posts. I'm new to this site, but looking for work and the best deal I can get for my two trucks with trailers & experienced drivers. I'm in TX right now have about a year experience here but at least two in ND hauling crude., with all the endrs. OSHA, H2S, Saftey courses, etc. have trained drivers. Additionally, I personally have over two years experience in the Rocky Mountains in CO. I'm not allowed to send PM's since I'm new, but if this shows up jonnybravo80033@yahoo.com or send me your email/contact info if you have ideas on how I can get honest work for full competent service. -
Hey when a company wants you do have 1 yr exp, is there any leeway to that or is that pretty much set in stone? I'm getting out of school in 5 weeks and trying to find a good company I can get with to start my career off in hauling crude or something of that sort.

You will want to ask the particular company in question directly. The difficult thing for hauling oil is the high risk & insurance requirements. For your own sake you will want to acquire the necessary skill before you start driving a tank full of a moving liquid load and all the hazards that go with it, in addition to the environmental risk, as well as the immense health risks to yourself and others if you slip up. I've seen experienced drivers nearly kill themselves, end up in critical condition, loose their careers, and destroy companies, rolling truck and trailer and spilling hundreds of bbls. of oil across highways. Be honest with yourself, wait until your good and ready.
