KEY Energy, You will have to pay your dues before you start making the big bucks, They want you to prove yourself, If not jump on a truck at Stevens and make 10 Cents a mile for 60000 miles and then get in your own truck, stay there a year and then jump to the oil fields, This is a much easier road then goning with a reefer company with a possible idiot to train you, just bide your time young one!:yes2557:

You know, I keep reading that number about SNI, but I'd have to say they are offering a half decent "salary", at least when you are just starting out and paying your dues. I'm not saying a newbie out of school might not do better elsewhere, and you CAN make more money starting out on a vacuum truck. The difference is that you get OT and work 70 - 100 hrs a week hauling water, or running a vacuum truck...and SNI might take advantage of you and work you more than 60 to 72 hours a week for that salary hauling crude...or not. I don't know. I was hoping someone who's doing it would pipe in, but not so far. I haven't stopped looking for better anyhow, and I'm planning to go a week or two early for that reason....so we'll see. Heck, I trained at Werner, and leased my own leased truck on to swift...so what do I know? Maybe I'm just the sucker SNI is looking for...but I made great money leased on to Swift.... sheesh. I sound like a chump.

I do wish someone that's hauling crude oil for Schneider would chime in with some skinny on their deal. Maybe the 84 hour weeks prevent them from posting? lol

Well Schneider might not be so bad if your hauling crude for them to get experience. It looks like the crude drivers make pretty good money. Does anybody know if Suncoast hires new grads I have been calling their recruiter but cant get no one or get any returned calls?

Buddy, you don't have a clue do you? Just so you know, people like you are what lead to misinformation.

No need to lie or distort the truth, if you have an issue with ANY company I'm sure it is an issue on YOUR end.

I know for a FACT that Sun Coast pays people $18/hr or higher to haul crude.

I know for a FACT that Gold Spur pays $19/hr or higher to haul crude.

I know for a FACT that Schneider pays a salary of $220/ per day or higher and that you work no less than 10 hours and no more than 12 hours per day.

I stick with the facts, other around here seem to THINK they know it all. I would just ignore the static and look into it if you are interested.

    Good luck to you JahB!
