If you get tanker and hazmat you'll easily find a company that will hire you. Especially a frac company.

Anyone know of any companies that will hire new drivers up in North Dakota? I'll be getting my CDL in about 3 weeks and would like to make that oil patch money for a few years. I have all my endorsements and a passport, but no TWIC. Also have prior heavy equipment experience in the Marine Corps. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Just go up there and you will get a job. Take a sleeping bag and a tent.

alright spoke to a recruitment agency here and they are recruiters for the oilfields. .. need 1 yr experience for water haulers in odessa/midland. but if no cdl no problem will send you to dallas to ffe training school and drive 6 months otr after that will transfer you to their water hauling operations in odessa.at $20/hr. 1 year contract. mmmmm... 1 year contract seems otr to me. i dont beleive they gonna give you a chance in oil fields .. will say all positions full here ..you need to continue otr for the full 1 year . what do you guys think. ?
i think im gonna stick to doing training with my own money and take a chance... go up to oilfields myself .

smart, never fall for the indentured servitude of company sponsored training. FFE has a school, then OTR, and yes they even have a water hauling tanker division... have to keep up with Stevens who also has a water hauling division. ;)
