Thanks for that info Gipper. I was searching on here for info about Sunoco. I am thinking about applying to them over in Midland. I been haulin double tankers out here in Nevada for the gold mines, but with gold prices going down they have slowed processing and we may be looking at layoffs over here. I think about 40 people are scheduled be to laid off.

They seem to be looking for lots of company drivers in OK. I know they have been hiring 3rd party carriers like crazy to keep up.
HeWhoMustNotBeNamed and DriversSeat Thank this. -
I am applying to them in San Angelo. From what I have heard thus far they seem to be a good company to work for. I know someone on this forum who was just hired by them, but I'll let him tell ya! Congrats and hopefully I'll be working with you soon. I am a military vet from the first Gulf War, I don't know if that will help or not. I did see something about a $3000 relocation bonus. Has anyone received it or know anymore about it? I do plan on moving my family there after I get situated.

That would be ME
Orientation starts Monday. I asked about the relocation and was told that once your situated and have proof of relocation (apt lease, etc) that you take that to your manager and he approves it and gets it processed. From what I could tell, didn't sound like there would be a problem. I'll know more soon..lol. -
So Arky do they accepted recent graduates? If they do I was thinking about applying to there Corpus location.

I believe they do. You can go to their website and get the info and contacts you need. I'm not sure if I can post links, so go to Sunocologistics dot com. Hope this helps.

Thanks, I appreciate the quick response Arky and RSQ Driver I will be applying with them.

There is a couple of different portals on that website. Find the one where you search for careers.....look for a link to create your own job profile. That will be a lengthy and thorough application AND since you are creating a profile, it is updatable as you progress. Example...if not already prehired or something, once you finish school and have your license, you can update your profile to show that...or hazmat..or tanker, etc.
I also advise that you print that app off if possible...or at least keep a record of all the info you put on it. If contacted for an interview, they will send you a paper application to be filled out...all the same stuff again and again...lol. So..just have a record of what you put on the online app...that way everything matches. -
Arky ; I cant private massage you due to not having 7 post but no problem I will take care of that, I would also like to know how much can one expect to make weekly? I really didn't understand the way they pay or maybe the way it was explained over their website. Thanks
