I'm not sure what BIA 14 was like before oilfield traffic started using it, but it has definitely turned to hell. I have been using it to get to HB frac pad the last few days and it was still crap, but it just rained the other day and the road has become 5x as bad. Nightmare, complete and utter nightmare. Any comments? When TF are they going to pave that road, lay concrete sections down, grade it ad infinitum, or something! I saw BIA 12 they are repairing the bad patches, but the trucks are so heavy going over the fresh pavement that the new asphalt patch has started to come apart already. I say just cut the bad sections out and fill em up with highway grade concrete or cement! Reinforced rebar! Make it strong to last for years! Any comments? What is the future of these roads because they are taking a toll on my arms and hands! CZ

Welcome to hell!! We ran down 14 to BIA 17 for over a year and it tore the trucks apart... Luckily we don't have to go out there much anymore. I personally don't think they'll ever fix it.

well part of the problem is even if they pave it unless they fix the road base first it will always be ####.

What do you mean? 14 is in great shape! Oh man, seriously, as bad as it is now, it's in great shape compared to a couple months ago. I started a thread about it. I hate it, it's the most costly, idiotic thing, imo. They've had graders out there this past month. Believe it or not, it was much worse. So, where did the graders go? It's bad now and if they don't keep the graders out there, it's going to get really bad, again.

When I left North Dakota they had idiots running their trucks at $80 an hour on BIA 14 just to survive.
