Well lownbehold the stars lined up and I made. I even got an interview. I think things went well. Will have to wait until next week for a possible phone call.......oh the anxiety.
-
I talked to Dustin their main recruiter out of Denver. Fast talker. All I heard was starting pay 15.00 bucks an hour out of the Cibolo, Tx yard. Hiring for fracing crews. Sounds low ball to me IMO.
-
I am by no means a computer genius and their app comes as a pdf file . Oh the fun I had trying to fill it out.
I had friends and family helping me out on this situation since I am on a cell phone. 2 days that cost me. I'm still trying to drive mind ya.
so. ...I got a hold of dusty and he he gave me an email with a direct email w reply.
That saved my day.
Done ... there it is.
They email to me that everyone's notified but nophone call to me. So I call him. ..Dusty and he says if no I can get their by 3 pm im cool .
Now ...........I just hauled ### from Arkansas too get there. ha ha 20 min to spare and just enough time to wipe diwn with some baby wipes and shooot a shot of cologne and run in.
She is not happy to see me. I DID not have an appointment. . Every body looked at me well it aint looking good for you buddy!
Haaa ...she approved me.
Soooo ....a few more questions from another guy and I think I'm in.

They pay good bonuses too don't they? I made 15 an hour all last year fracing and made almost 90k so it could be worse.
-
Ya. Their bonuses and perdium was pretty impressive. You get health coverage the following month after you start. And in one yea4 if your a good boy you are eligible to work over seas. I could handle going to Dubai fir year or two. I really want this job they seem like a real upscale employer. Big on safety too. So they said they would be calling everyone next week who they wanted to give a job offer. Im pretty anxious. Plus it would be real nice to have a job before I got there. Heck they even give you a hundred bucks every six months just to help buy new boots. She said the Man caps were real nice. Cable wifi pool tables nice kitchens. I am pretty impressed with them. They returned my calls and that Dusty guy made it possible for me , they come across as a stand up company.

Most of that stuff is standard for the bigger service companies. Welcome to the oilfield!! Don't get your expectations to high because there will be plenty of times when you wonder if its worth it. Lol
We just finished a 25 hour day and I wasn't sure if I was gonna make it on the last two hours or so. My body felt like it was gonna give out. And all that was after 5 straight 20 hr days. It was a rough week! -
During the last 125 working hours how many hours of sleep did you get?
-
3.5-4 a day and on Sunday we 24 out so we could go to the next pad Monday.
-
Well it turned out that I'm substandard for them so it's time to go home pack up and just head on out there to see what comes of it all . So I'm thinking the Odessa area, maybey Corpus but for no experience im thinking Odessa is probably my bey shot.
Scott101 Thanks this.
