Ive been seeing these trucks on hauling to fracs the last few months. Continental and Hess jobs. They haul fresh water with converted oil gear pumps. 200 barrels. Hess and continental pay by the barrel instead of hourly. So opportunity to make more money hauling monster trailers. My company started using some of our steel oil tankers in April but they weigh 25000 lbs empty so we can only get 185 bbls on legally. Prairies trailers are huge but lightweight aluminum. They can be a pain on frac right franc sites so make sure you know what you are doing in reverse

 

What companies are hiring?

 

Yeah, I worked for those idiots. They train you then before your 90 days is up they fire you. Getting ready to start up a Class Action Lawsuit against these morons. If you go to work for them, just expect to train and be looking for another job within 60 days. They even fired the loser that fired me and my friend's. He never stepped foot into a truck. He was only a truck pusher from Power Fuels in Watford City. He knew nothing about managing or truck maintenance. They will find something to fire you for, maintenance or production ECT. They got out of hauling water. They did not know the first thing about water anyway. They will house you in a FEMA trailer for free. I wouldn't send my worst enemy there.

They always tell the driver's there. Production, I was constantly thawing, hoses, pipes, pumps ECT. Not including the truck had to be in the shop. The trailer and pump were crap. But they fired all the water driver's. All of us are hopefully going to have a class action on them soon.

 

Ha I always remember prairie trying to run water in their gear pump trailers in sub zero weather. They wanted to cash in on Hess barrel rates for fresh water. Never even bothered to take the haz mat placards off hauling fresh water

 

Yeah. They have no clue. They have been thrown out of ND once already. The very day they let me go. What's asked what's her name in the office for my insurance paperwork. And she said she would get it for me tomorrow. I went across to the dispatch office, I was getting ready to turn in my paperwork for the day. And was talking with moron in charge. And we talked for about 5 minutes saying at the end. Going to have to let me go. I just got up and walked out. The guy was a ###. No exp and a left over truck pusher from P.Fuels in Watford City.
But yeah they don't know crap about the water needed in the capacity the oil companies needed water in.
I worked for PowerFuels out of Minot and Williston Tioga. They could get 10,000 barrel's pretty fast compared to 540 barrels Prairie could get 3 times a day and usually it was only 2 times a day. Prairie doesn't ever ever stand a chance in the oilfields.

 

I passed a Prairie crude hauler on the Watford Bypass today, guy was dragging ###. Have seen a few of them around but not very often.
