I work on a frac crew. We drive maybe a total of six hours a week and the rest of the time we work. This week I got a little over 120hrs.
They offer hotels and mancamps but you make 3-4 dollars an hour more if you have your own place to stay in midland. -

Yep. I stay with two other guys in a FEMA trailer. My rent is 330 a month which is high but my name isn't on anything. If it goes south I can pick up and leave tomorrow with no consequences.

I had two buddies that already worked here and they were looking for another roommate. My company would give you housing and them when you found your own they would give you a raise but I don't know if that's the case anymore.

Nice. You must work with one of the smaller outfits. I hear they're a bit more generous with things like that than the big guys. Having no experience I will probably just get on with one of the big guys like schlum, baker, or Haliburton. Safety is important to me, more so than money. You happy with the co. your're with? Are they safe? Thanks for replying with solid info! -
I like this company a lot. They pay good and were busy and their as safe as anybody else but they don't have a bunch stupid rules they just have experienced hands.
