MBI hired me directly out of trucking school with nothing but military experience. If you can handle driving like that you'll be just fine on the roads out here. Slow and steady wins the race. Don't get stuck, try not to get lost, don't be afraid to call and ask for directions. I'm going to give you #### if you call me asking how to get somewhere you have been but its all good natured.

    King34 Thanks this.

That's what makes the day go by. Wouldn't be trucking without the #### I'll have my chance to pass on the favor later. ;) Hey it's mud season. STUCK HAPPENS....... unless the roads are good enough if you stay on them? There is always that muddy rut with your name on it (hope the horsepower is there when you need it). And as far as getting directions..... the squirrel just laughs when you follow the goat path to his tree, because he has seen Billy Big Rig have to back trailers a mile up that same muddy road before. Ever tried pushing a truck up hill with a rope?? Hahahahahah. Always better to ask.

I'm a dispatcher I'll never ask you for directions. :D Stuck doesn't happen as much as you'd think and its more often a problem on the actually lease sites than the roads since the lease sites don't have as much traffic or get grated. We have winch trucks and stuff that pull our drivers out and they don't get crucified by management for it but other drivers and stuff will give you a hard time.

DISPATCHER?!?!?!?!?!? Great, now I owe you two lunches if I get there. One for all the helpful info and another because dispatchers have such a hard job with very little thanks......... Spreading it thick enough for you yet?? Healthy place to eat out around? HAHAHAHAHA. Again the #### goes around and comes around. Wouldn't be trucking without that. Most drivers I know have their B.S. in B.S. I personally am working on my doctoral thesis in it right now.

bknight, thanks for your very valuable info. There are many of us who are interested in ND and u r helping us a lot. My question for u is:
Does MBI provide/help with housing for all employees or just for drivers ? I am interested in office position with MBI.

As far as I know any employee can get housing but the prices don't change for you from job title to job title.

    Vegasman and 4eigner Thank this.

Thank you, bknight, really good info. Yeah, thank goodness they opened up the new store in Stanley! Prices aren't too bad. you'd have to take a bag of gold with you into the old store, downtown! lol!
So, MBI is hiring directly for drivers out of Ross or Stanley? My hubby talked to a contractor for MBI, but, I told him to try to get onto the company directly. He is working out of New Town, now, but, not getting enough hours. He's on hourly, but, wants to get 70 + per week, and that's not happening, so he's looking for a new gig. Would that be possible with MBI? also, it's % right?
Thanks in advance for any help you can give us.
