Hey guys,
Just got an offer from FTS. They work 2 weeks on, 1 off. For the week off, they still pay 40 hrs. They are providing housing in a man camp, 3 meals a day and have laundry on site. Seems like a good deal to me. I'm sure there is negatives about the company as no company is perfect, but just wanted to see what y'all think of FTS in general.

It used to be frac tech services (fts) the international came about when the Chinese got aholt of it. . I would avoid the Chinese at all costs. I dont buy anything that says made in china. So I sure wouldnt work for them. But thats just me. Oh btw I flip them off everytime I see one of their vehicles, so wave back its me

Ditto. Was one of the big players in Barnett. Sold out to Chinese and hit or miss now. Have a couple of their ex drivers where I am now. O Opps. One made a killing there as company driver from06-2010. Bought his own ride. Other got screwed and hates them. If you're new probably not a bad deal to cut your teeth on.

Well I applied to Baker Hughes as well. My sister has a friend who is a manager at Baker Hughes who told her that he could get me a job there as they need people. I just jumped on fts cause they offered first. Should I wait on Baker Hughes? Don't wanna job jump too much

I've read some pretty horrifying stories about Frac Tech

Sometimes jumping is necessary. If you know you have the other job well thats a different story
