As I am nearing completion of my CDL program, I have been continually making contact with companies and recruiters, trying to line up as many options as I can. Monday, I have an interview with Baker Hughes. It is for a CDL-A HazMat driver position that is local to my home. It seems like a good job and I would be happy to accept a position with this company. My other "big name" is CalFrac. We met a recruiter at the school as they appear to be in need, and I spoke with him shortly after about the position. Both seem to have their pros and cons.. my question, in a general sense, is who would you recommend? Any stories or insider scoops? Best company for advancement? I know the work is totally different, but I am trying to gauge who would be the better option in future-proofing my career.
Thanks!
Baker Hughes vs CalFrac

Calfrac pretty much got ran out of ND or at least my area. They were fracing for Marathon but did not do things properly and lost their contract.

Wow. That is a pretty big contract to lose. Do you know who replaced them?

Seems like all I see down there is Weatherford, Baker-hughes or Halliburton.
